About the Competition

Consuldents believe that engineering projects play a very critical role in shaping a good student. Students who do good projects in their college days have better engineering skills and stand apart from others in the job placements. It is our vision to create better engineers through projects that are localized to Pakistan’s context.

This competition is to encourage Pakistani students making use of their ‘Final Year Projects’ in the best way possible. Consuldents wants to recognize potential students with outstanding FYPs to be showcased to the world. If your FYP stand out, your team gets to win a cash prize and an investor network to bank on to.

Why 4IR?

Why fourth industrial revolution or 4IR? Because we stand on the brink of a technological revolution that will fundamentally alter the way we live, work, and relate to one another. In its scale, scope, and complexity, the transformation will be unlike anything humankind has experienced before. Our engineering response should be clear enough: the response to it must be integrated and comprehensive, involving technological skills that solve our problems of today, and become a beckon of hope for tomorrow.

Competition Structure

Step 1: Registration

Log on at www.consuldents.com and sign up as a student. Go to your profile and enter details of your FYP.

Step 2: Submission of Final Working Model

The FYP should not merely be an idea but a working prototype. Participating student teams commit to complete their working prototypes by 13th December 2018.

Step 3: Project Review and Selection

A panel of judges comprising of experts from industry and academia will review the projects and select the candidates for best FYP projects.

Step 4: Award Ceremony and Prize Distribution

The best FYP will be recognized in the award and prize distribution ceremony at Consuldents 4IR Summit with a prize money of Rs. 40,000. Cash prizes will also be announced for runner’s up and third position FYPs.

Following prize money will also be announced:

1^st Prize: Rs. 30,000, a plaque, investor and industry validation and certificate from Consuldents

2^nd Prize: Rs. 20,000, a plaque, investor and industry validation and certificate from Consuldents

3^rd Prize: Rs. 10,000, a plaque, investor and industry validation and certificate from Consuldents, free 4IR summit passes
