The applications for the prestigious Chevening Scholarship are open now. Chevening scholarships are being funded and supported by the United Kingdom’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). Chevening scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship scheme and is one of the most golden opportunities being offered to the most talented and extraordinary students. Chevening Scholarships offer applicants the opportunity to study for a one-year master’s degree program in the United Kingdom.

Eligibility criteria:

Applicant must fulfill the following requirements to be considered for the scholarship award:

• Applicant must be a scholarship-eligible country.
• Has completed the undergraduate degree requirements.
• Has acquired the work experience of at least 02 years.
• Meet the Chevening English language requirement by 16 July 2020.
• Must not hold British or dual-British citizenship.
• Employees, former employees, or the relatives of the employees of the UK> Government or its sponsored organization.
• Must not have studied before in the UK from the funding of the UK Government.

Applicants will be needed to fill an online application. Tentative dates for the scholarship process are as below:

• 5 August 2019 = Application Opens
• 5 November 2019 = Application Close at 12:00 GMT
• 6 November 2019 = Applications are examined against Eligibility Criteria
• Mid – November to December 2019 = Reading Committee Assessments
• Early to Mid – February 2020 = Applicants Shortlisted for an Interview
• 25 February 2020 = References and Education Documents Closing date
• 2 March to 1 May 2020 = Interviews Happen
• From Early June 2020 = Results
• 16 July 2020 = Offer Deadline
• September/October 2020 = Studies Begin in the UK
