Opportunities for Graduates and Undergraduates 

The much-awaited Harvard Crossroads Emerging Leaders has been announced and they are accepting the applications. Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program is being run by two Professors of The Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute at Harvard University. It is one week fully funded program to be held in Dubai.

• Students across the world who are the first member of their family or the first generation within their family to attend the university can apply for this program and besides that, they should also be financially challenged. The host city of the program is Dubai and will be held at Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai. The aim of this program is to bring students from diverse backgrounds and discuss the socio-economic issues of their countries and the world.

Eligibility Criteria for this opportunity?

The eligibility for Round-1 is following:

• Students Must be from Central Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the United States.
• Should fall in the age bracket of 18-24.
• Should be enrolled in any undergraduate program at any university or a recent graduate from a university within the last three years.
• The student must be the first member of his family or the first generation of the family to attend university.
• Must hold the passport or another national document of the countries mentioned above.
• Fluency in English is also necessary for the candidate.

Once the student has qualified the first round and successfully attends the round-1 at Dubai, he/she can apply for Round-2, a separate application will be needed for that.

• XID account is necessary for a candidate to complete an online application through CARAT then.
• The last date to apply for this program is August 30, 2019, at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
