Who are Consuldents?

Consuldents are student consultants enrolled in top tier academic institutions around Pakistan. We want to become Pakistan’s graduate education platform for leading students (undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students) where organizations can collaborate on short-term projects, competitions and FYPs. For projects and competitions, an amount of Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 is a popular starting price. Consuldents is completely free for organization and does not charge them pay for anything more than the list price of the project, and that too, directly to students.

What can be posted at Consuldents?

Well, anything and everything. However, we encourage projects and competitions technical and creative in nature. Whether you working on a next drone program for a startup, smart grid integration for an upcoming enterprise or a market research effort for a large multinational organization, the top notch Pakistani students from best academic programs will help you out with each phase of your project; working diligently on your assignment and helping you save costs for you and your organization.

Are Consuldents freelancers?

Consuldents are not freelancers. What makes them different from everyday freelancer is that they are enrolled in some of the best undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs around Pakistan and are geared towards working on technical and creative stuff. If you are looking for everyday freelancing work (SEO, content writing, blog writing, logo design), then unfortunately this platform may not work for you. On the other hand, if you are working on something cutting edge, unique and disruptive (your next startup idea, electric planes, battery storage, textile designing etc.) then Consuldents will provide you the best collaborative space to try out your ideas with top minds in academia. Even when you want a solution that is budget friendly and easy on your pocketbook, you can hire a student instead of a regular Consultant and get your work done in wide array of fields such as engineering, business, public policy, arts and architecture etc.

How can we post a project or a competition?

It’s simple. Click on Post a Project or Post a Competition and start filling out details. Begin with project category selection and then carefully define Terms of Reference (TORs) of your assignment including Scope of Work and Outputs required from students.

Can I review Final Year Projects?

Yes, of course. You can evaluate FYPs that students upload and can also comment and review them. If you want to collaborate with them, there is an easy way to access students and collaborate further.

Can I post jobs and internships for fresh graduates?

Yes, of course. Simply go to your organization profile and post jobs and internships for students and fresh graduates.

What about payments?

Consuldents don’t charge anything from organizations. You can simply set an amount and directly contact students to remit payments after your project or competition gets completed.

Safety considerations at Consuldents

Consuldents want to ensure best collaborative space between academia and industry. We try to deploy highest standards of safety and security to make sure that organization’s project does not get compromised.

Organizations own all Intellectual Properties (IP) rights of the project. This is explicitly how the Consuldent contract is laid out also. If you further think the project your organization is working on requires further confidential agreements, then get the student sign one of the standard Non-Disclosure Agreement or feel free to get them sign one of your own. In any case, the right to own all deliverables and IPs stand with the organization.
